The weekend is quickly coming to an end...and I am still working on giving my last few projects a final push before the school year ends. I am in desperate need for a break from this town. The countdown begins...only 11 more days! Thank GOD! Wish me luck....

{violet obsession}

Purple has become my new favorite color the past few months. Lilac, amethyst, wine, magenta, violet, mauve, all shades and hues of purple I am completely obsessed with! Not to mention, you see it everywhere lately. It was a popular color for Fall clothing, and just as home design follows fashion, all hues of purple have showed up in rugs, walls, and upholstery. I love it paired with chocolate brown, gold, or a light grey. Many designers have used it as the spot of color in a room full of neutrals. It is associated with royalty, regality, and nobility, believed to be Cleopatra’s favorite color!

I am a big fan of the book "The Secret", I truly believe that good energy and positive thinking attract good things into your life. I believe that you can have anything, and achieve anything in life as long as you put your mind to it. I love life lists, life wouldn't be complete with out dreams and goals. This is it. It is not finished and I hope it never becomes finished. This list has become a huge part of my future and it helps keep me positive and motivated for what is in store.

I have been falling for someone for a long time now, my boyfriend wouldn't be happy to know this, his name is Tim Walker and he is AMAZING! My good friend Nekku had the opportunity to visit his museum in London...jealous! By far one of the best fashion photographers I have ever seen. We searched to find a book of his online called "Pictures"....unfortunately the price tag is a tad ridiculous ($2,000). These will have to do for now. Enjoy! xxx

Lately, I have been itching to go on a vacation. Preferably one that involves Cape Cod style homes, a light house, a beautiful sail boat, some off-shore breezes and the sound of crashing waves.

After months of snow and cold weather, the sun is finally shining! I often wonder why I am living in Utah (for several reasons), but I sure can appreciate the first sunny days of Spring! It just takes a couple warm spring days to remind me how beautiful Utah really is. Only a couple weeks left of the school year and I am off to beautiful Bozeman, Montana for the summer! I can't wait!
